All about me....
When did I first fall in love with cooking?
I grew up in New Orleans, La. amid a family that loves good gatherings and great food. I bean a life-long love affair not only with food, but with all things culinary. Both of my Grandmothers can take any ingredients that are in the fridge and pantry and create culinary masterpieces. It did not matter what region of France or what farm the food came from, they would take ordinary ingredients, turn them into something wonderful, and feed what sometimes resembled a small army. I began to experiment with different food ,flavors, and types of cuisines which all helped me to find my culinary point of view.

My mother played a vital part as she taught us how to be self-sufficient. She makes this pecan bunt cake that I still can't duplicate and my father makes a shrimp dish with a name that is only discussed at the kitchen table!

And then there is John, my husband and best friend, whose family has a rich background in vegetarian cooking.  John taught me what school or work didn't about vegetarian cooking.

Why cook 24/7?
I began Posh, armed with a passion for cooking, pleasing, and pampering everyone who tastes my food. I not only love cooking, but I also enjoy sharing, and teaching the abundance of knowledge, wisdom & most recipes that I have acquired throughout the years. Naturally I love to cook Creole and Cajun food, but I have come to love all types of cuisine from around the globe. Cooking is what I was born to do so I decided to make a career out of it.

I have been blessed to cook for some of Atlanta's elite, athletes, musicians, singers, and many other wonderful clients who desired a dinner for a landmark occasion such as a bridal or baby shower, engagement party, 40th birthday party, and the list goes on.

What's in a name?
After much thought, I chose the name Posh because it represents classy, elegant, fashionable, & smart among other things. Posh is what my organization represents in our demeanor, service, & most of all our food.

What I've earned. where I've worked...
I began catering at the age of 21 when I prepared food for a good friend's bachelor party. Early on I realized that cooking was more than a hobby for me so I began collecting cook books and creating dishes for my family and friends to sample. After working and working and working!!! I  decided that after my last job closed without any prior notice that it was time to take this to this next level. I earned a degree in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute at Chattahoochee Technical College under the direction of Chef Michael Bologna and a host of other great and well respected chefs.  I also attended a program for micor-enterpises called Business NOW for women in the Atlanta area.
I have worked at some of Atlanta's finest country clubs such as Atlanta National and White Columns both Heritage Golf Clubs located in Alpharetta, Ga.

I am ServeSafe Certified with the National Restaurant Association, a Certified Culinarian with the ACF, licensed and insured. Most of all, I a committed every day to providing high-quality food and an unforgettable experience to all that desire it.

Bon Appetite,
